The Role:
The Special Education Administrator/Principal will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and fostering a positive and enriching learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight to all academic and therapeutic programs.
Supervise and evaluate teaching and support staff.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, teachers, and therapists.
Manage school budget and resources.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community stakeholders.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
While New Hampshire certification as a Special Education Administrator is preferred, we are open to supporting the relocation of the right candidate with a competitive relocation package.
Proven experience as a Special Education Administrator or Principal.
Deep understanding of special education law and best practices.
